Position Summary:
The Director of Advocacy and Communications (“Director”) will be responsible formanaging outreach for the Savings Bond Project aimed at Federal policy decision makers,thought leaders, grassroots constituencies and the public at large. The Director will helpgrow and manage an ongoing Advisory Group. The Director will assist withcommunications by creating and strengthening partnerships with other organizations andagencies to educate and generate consensus on policy as well as foster action on saving forlower income families. This task entails transforming existing research into accessible andcompelling materials including short newsletter articles, fact sheets, e-newsletters, etc. It will also be Washington, D.C. focused and require political acumen.
