D2D Strategic Plan, 2011-2014
D2D's 2011-2014 Strategic Plan outlines how the organization will expand its work and increase its social impact over the next three and a half years. After a fast-paced and rich first decade, punctuated by several milestone achievements, Executive Director Tim Flacke and the Board of Directors agreed the organization needed to undergo a formal strategic planning process.
Under the guidance of a strategic planning committe, planning was conducted in late 2010 and 2011, and resulted in strategic goals relating to:
- Fostering Systemic Change in the Financial System
- Achieving Direct Consumer Impact
- Refining D2D's Innovation Process
- Marketing D2D Effectively
- Strengthen D2D’s Infrastructure
- Securing Needed Resources
Goals one and two focus on D2D's programmatic work, while goals three through six address how D2D operates. More detail on these six strategic goals can be found in the document, D2D Strategic Plan 2011-2014: Innovation for Economic Inclusion.
