Prize-Linked Savings in the News

Prize-Linked Savings has gained attention in various news outlets recently. The Credit Union Times has highlighted the launch of Save to Win at seven participating credit unions in North Carolina. With over $100,000 worth of Save to Win share certificates opened less than a month after the launch, the North Carolina Credit Union League hopes to continue the steady flow of account openings from new and existing savers.

Prize-Linked Savings also received mention on NPR’s Morning Edition paired with a write-up online. The segment, which examines Americans’ lack of assets and savings, features coverage of Maryland CASH, a D2D partner organization, while also highlighting prize-linked savings as a possible solution for financially vulnerable Americans.
