Bonds - Get Involved
D2D’s work on U.S. Savings Bonds is not possible without partnerships with a wide range of national partners, including community-based and grassroots organizations.
Since 2002, D2D has worked with over two-dozen community partners in 17 states to pilot test ideas and conduct research. The staff and volunteers of these community agencies have made our work possible.
We seek organizations that are:
- experienced,
- willing to provide frank feedback, and
- interested in changing national policy.
In the area of volunteer tax preparation, tax sites with significant client volume and a track record of success are helpful.

For tax season 2008, D2D issued a Request for Proposal in July, 2007 which provided background on the savings bond work, outlined plans for the upcoming tax season, and asked interested sites to respond to a handful of questions.
